Bought this camera in Black yesterday, ain't used it much just took a few test shots. The build of the camera is great, the LCD is big and bright and it is also packed with many cool features such as travel date etc. The 10x zoom works really well... I think this is the idea camera for travellers that don't want to carry round an SLR, as this camera has packed 10x zoom into a fairly small package.

I ordered an 8gb and 2x 2gb memory card by Play.com to use in my camer and they work great. I can fit so many pictures from this camera (9megapixel).The video is in HD so it takes up to much memory so if you wan to make alot of videos you'll either have to try bigger then 8gb or keep transfer them from the card so it can be reused.

I would highy recommend this camera... Its one of the top cameras in 2008 :) One thing i have heard is it don't shot well in low light... i can not comment on this as i have not tried but all of the test shots i have looked at have been of great quaity (As taken on SLR). Enjoy!

i have had this camera for a week now and wow, the pictures this thing can take are stunning. i have tried this in different lights from evening, candle, direct sun and sun set, and it has not missed a beat. macro mode is really good as well.
this comes with a direct link lead to your tele so you can look at your pictures on a large screen tele, this thing also records short films in 720 HD. i have bought an 8 GB SD card for this camera which allows you to take close to 1800 images at high quality 9.1 mg wide screen. i have the new IMAC apple and the pictures are just stunning, almost to a fault as everyone will thing you never took them.
the only things i dont like about this is its not a good looking camera compared to some on the market, the finish could be better and it should come with a case because you dont want to scratch that massive LCD screen.
if you want the advantages of an SLR camera but none of the hassle i think you have found the camera for you.

Excellent camera so much better than my old one. starts up very quickly, good battery and quick flash. Photos are brilliant although some had a bit of noise on fairly high ISO settings. OIS (optical image stabilisation) is very useful and the HD movie feature is good but I can't notice much difference between HD and normal video, but thats probably just me.

Well worth buying... if you can afford it!

Ive had sony Cybershot T30 and T100, This is in an different league. it has (intelligent auto) feature which does everything for a good shot almost 99% of the time. as well as the 720p movie mode. Just a note on the battery, it runs out somewhat quickly which i think is due to the optical zoom lens and size.

First day of using camera and am blown away by quality, had Sony Cybershot before but this camera is in different league. The quality of the image and the zoom stability is amazing.
