Belkin iPod/iPhone Tunecast Auto

Just bought myself one of these and I couldn't be happier. I have a naff old car stereo (radio/cassette) and the tape player doesn't work so that eliminated the choice of a cassette adapter. I was worried that it wouldn't work or the quality would be bad but i was sooooo wrong. Clear and crisp! 5 stars all the way!

This FM Transmitter is great. I have an iPhone so i needed to buy a compatible transmitter, this works well with it. I have seen cheaper ones on the market however by just paying that little bit more you get a great quality product. The sound quality is crystal clear, just like your listening to a CD. The ClearScan function is also really good, no need to scroll through frequencies, all you do is press one button and tune your stereo to the same one, easy! Perfect, worth the extra pennies.

After having this for a few weeks I can confirm that the Belkin iPod/iPhone Tunecast Auto charger/transmitter work with the iPhone 3G model. It charges the phone AND transmits the music. You do get the "accessory is not compatible" warning message when you connect to the charger/transmitter, but just ignore it and it works fine.

Only getting 4 stars rather than 5 because the sound quality is not quite as good as connecting the iPhone to the car stereo, whether it be from a USB cable or even an old cassette adaptor. But it's close.

Having read the other reviews on this product I was hoping for decent sound quality. Alas I am disappointed - on a 5 minute school run it suggested I change frequencies 3 times and when I did get connected the quality was appalling. One for the bin - £35 wasted.
