  A waste of £15

It froze up and died after two weeks for no reason.
It doesn't look like the picture shown and doesn't show the fiddly plastic switch used for navigation. The navigation is slow, illogical and awkward.
Sound quality is awful with no improvement when used with good earphones. It's really tinny with no bass at all. Too quiet even at full volume and doesn't block out outside noise.
I once owned a 20 pounds Creative Zen which broke after 5 years and only because I dropped it in the end. The sound quality, build quality and design were all a 100 times better than this Christmas cracker prize effort.
It's got built by the lowest bidder written all over it.

  Neat player - dreadful instructions!

Just bought this when I managed to drop my elderly Creative Zen Nano in the bath! It's a neat player - good value, but terrible instructions or lack of instructions - just a piece of paper which didn't relate to product at all! Also I mistakenly thought there was a radio too! Also tried to plug into computer at work so I could have some music when working, but just came up with 'file error'....Ah well - it's still pretty good for the price.

  Just 1 fault

I bought this MP3 player about a year ago and it works great. I must admit, when it first arrived in the post I thought it looked a little tacky, and I thought it probably wouldn't last long, but I haven't had any trouble with it. If I have a complaint it would be the shuffling issue.
When you put songs on this MP3 player it automatically sorts them into folders according to artist and album, and unfortunately you can't shuffle between all your songs, only between the songs in a single folder. To get around this problem I emptied all the songs into a single folder. This means I can shuffle between all of them, but in order to find a particular song I have to search through all my music. Still, if you don't think that will bother you I would recommend this product.

Has a very large memory capacity for a reasonable price. I have managed to put several albums onto it but for some reason they all come under "various artists." Does anybody know where I have gone wrong?
06/07/08 - Have figured it out. Excellent value for under £18.00.

  Go for it

For the price you can't go wrong, sounds very good and the player is easy to use, as I like varied music, rock, pop, ballads etc, I put over 3 gig's of music into the player using drag and drop not in any folders, set it to random and it worked great, playing any song in any order. well worth it

  Great product- terrible instructions!!

Great mp3 player for the value. Can I just point out for all people like me what the instructions DOESN'T tell you which is how to naviagate folders...

Go to DIR Navigation by pressing Mode twice. Then use the plus button to take you past Root and Manual Folders... there are more folders below these and you will find the Music you've uploaded there. Then you can just use the Mode button to play the album you want. Because the screen is small I thought Root and Manual was all there was and it didn't occur to me to scroll down below that. A few hours later I'm very happy with my MP3 player. Play please rewrite your instructions!!

Plays .oggs and works in Ubuntu (Linux)

Fine little player - worked out of the box - and very easy to copy my moozak straight across from my hard drives: works fine in Vista and Ubuntu. I have all my files organised in folders and sub-folders: the player recognises them as all separate.

Sound is good - have some more expensive headphones, but the ones that come with it are good enough (if only the cable were longer).

Battery life ? Dunno - only got it today. Anything else ? Maybe - hence only 4 ****

Cheap and Cheerful shame about the manual

An ok ish player for the price as long as you dump all the songs into a single directory. The manual provided as a PDF file on the player itself is next to useless. It does not tell you how to change directories so good luck figuring that one out. Would have given it 4 stars if the manual was of use and included in printed form in the box.
