just got this after a long wait due to being lost in the post, and it was well worth it! Yes its plasticky, yes its a bit of a fiddle to start with but its easy to download stuff and easily fits into your pocket.
For the money you cant ask anymore.

Just got this MP3 player a 3 hour ago. I am very happy with his product. Easy to use and everything works perfectly fine!

A biased review which attends to a large problem for ME

Well first of all , for £15 you get a whopping 4GB worth of space so this is an ideal modem for transporting around files , programs and plenty of music. However the stale buttons seem a little off and it does require a small amount of brain power to figure out how to set it up.

The sound is my only problem since I can barely hear it with a certain degree of sound around me using the earphones which were supplied with the MP3 player. Apparently I should of checked the sound quality for this before buying since I thought all MP3 players have a standard when it comes too the sound output but this fell below my expectations.

However note that I am being very picky since I did get this intially to block out surrounding noise and since its max output of volume is weak even with better earphones i'm now on the lookout for another mp3 player with better sound quality.

I guess you really do get what you pay for.

  Great little player

Admittedly, it is a little fiddly to use at first, but just have a play around with it and its fine.

Plug in some decent headphones and it delivers great sound. Would recommend some decent Ni-MH rechargeable AAA batteries as well as the supplied alkaline doesn't last very long.

  For the price? Amazing!

There's a lot of carping about what it doesn't do or have. It's cheap as chips & a total bargain. 4GB for under £15? Easy to use (manual preloaded & website help too) & does the job brilliantly. Result!

  Cheap and cheerful

A cheap and cheerful mp3 player... works ok but has the feel of something that won't be very durable... very plasticy. Also the only instructions come installed in the device as a pdf file so unless you have Adobe on your computer you won't be able to read it!
Still it has 4GB of storage, came with a free battery and was under 15 quid so all in all it's a fair deal.

  Good for the money!

Works well, drag and drop music, very easy to use. How anybody can have had problems getting it started is totally beyond me! Take cap off and plug it in the USB port!! I do find the info in the play window very small to read, but I guess I'm getting old. The sound isn't of the best quality, I also have a small Sony MP3 which is much better, but for the money this one is great. This is one I just intend to throw in the car, and it's good for that job. Seems robust enough for that, too.

  how to turn on

Hi,you hold down the left key which works as the play button you use this to turn it off also.a nice little 2nd player to have along as is small and has good storage only down side is no instructions with it but if you have had an mp3 player before then you can work it out,but for the price is a good buy.

  Good but one problem

I have had a few similar players and this one does the job and is handy for throwing in the pocket. One thing. Please can someone tell me how to navigate between folders (cds) of music? I can only go back and forward a song at a time within one folder. I have tried reading the pdf manual, tried hitting every button, tried going in to the direct navigation menu but it gives me nothing. I'm beginning to think it is faulty.
