There is no need to get the 1000 watt version this has enough power to hurt your ears!! The sound quality playing playstation through optical lead is crisp and very powerfull, well recommend!!

This home cinema out is absolutely outstanding! I have it hooked up to my samsung 37'' tv (also off play) and the 1080p upscaler and the sound quality is just superb. Also I have it connected to my PS3 (via an optical cable - also off play) and on cod 4 the sound is immense, I just can't wait till cod 5!!! Also the sound on gta iv is pretty cool! Great product again. The only downside is that I am still waiting for another HDMI cable to arrive!! Come on play!!!
