I cant rate this camera highly enough. Not being much of a user manual reader myself, I found the ease with which I could operate 90% of the available functions, (of which there are a multitude) within minutes of taking it out of the box, an absolute joy. The video camera stunned me with its clarity of picture and excellent voice pick up from a cleverly placed mic. With 12 megapixels at your disposal, face recognition and anti red eye functions its almost impossible to take a bad photograph. As well as the fantastic array of lighting effects and shooting modes you can even edit, rotate or crop photo's and more on this fine piece of engineering, it almost makes the photo software on your computer seem obsolete. For the adventurous amateur or the budding professional, look no further this is the camera for you. I haven't even discovered half of its hidden secrets (haven't read the manual yet as I said) and I couldn't be happier with the results so far. Well done Fuji !
