The sound quality is very good, If you have problems playing WMP using the USB connection, follow the advice given to connect to the Aux port at the back of the machine. This works like a dream, you can choose tracks from the MP3 screen much easier. A bargain for the price.
Perfect - and it DOES play WMA files (via AUX input)

Tried it just before going to Cuba, it worked on the USB for about two hours then just set the MP3 player flashing. Did the same with all our Ipods & MP3 players. Tried a usb stick worked OK so took it on holiday as it worked on the Aux connection with the MP3 player. USB stick stopped working on holiday then so did the MP3 in aux mode. so just binned it in Cuba to make way for the rum and cigars. Can only get aux through remote all a bit fiddly, cracking sound when it worked for all five hours so that was 2 quid an hour!!
