Advanced Shake Reduction (ASR)
ASR reduces the effects of camera shake in low light conditions and macro shooting. Flash photography can sometimes result in harsh, over-exposed images, but ASR guarantees bright, crisp and natural images without using a flash at all.

Flash or no flash? Wise Shot can take both at once
This clever feature allows you to choose the best picture by taking 2 shots simultaneously - one using ASR and one using a flash. So if you're unsure, let the camera do the work for you and simply choose the image you prefer when the hard work has been done!

Face Recognition AF & AE
Regardless of the composition of the picture, the face of a subject is automatically recognised and focused. (AF) Even in backlight, the flash automatically fires in order to take a picture with appropriate illumination.(AE) Face recognition technology supports more beautiful portrait picture taking. This function automatically recognise the face of a subject and optimises focus and brightness in shooting.

Advanced movie functions:
The L73 supports SVGA quality (800x592,20fps) for an enhanced video shooting experience. You can even edit your movies on the camera itself, making these clever models brilliantly portable but powerful movie-makers.

Zoom while recording your movie
The L73 allows the use of the optical 3x zoom to get closer to the subject while still recording. This offers a camcorder-like recording experience.

Built-in movie editing:
This mode is used to select and cut desired scenes from a recorded movie, and save the scenes. The mode is very convenient because editing a movie can occur within the camera itself, immediately after recording the movie.

Motion Capture Mode
The high-speed continuous shooting function makes it possible to take 30 high resolution images VGA size(640x480) in one sequence.When the shutter is pressed down and held, 30 shots are taken per second. Using this function, you can analyse your golf swing, capture a race car speeding by, or study other sequences of motion.

11 Scene Modes:
You have a choice of scene modes to help you get the perfect shot in any situation. By automatically adjusting the camera's setting according to the situation, you can be sure of getting great pictures effortlessly. The scene modes provided are Night Scene, Portrait, Children, Landscape, Text, Sunset, Dawn, Backlight, Fireworks, Beach and Snow.

Red-eye fix:
A special Red-eye Fix algorithm on the camera automatically eliminates red-eye from your pictures. You can remove red-eye during image payback, or for even greater convenience, set the camera to automatically detect and eliminate red-eye from your shots as they are taken.

Advanced Photo Gallery:
When viewing the images on the LCD, it is possible to listen to music provided by the camera or add special effects to the images to be displayed on the LCD. Diverse slide effects make image viewing more interesting.
