Not good if the files are already on your PC

Quality is good, but this device is seriously limited in playing your older pictures stored on your pc. It only supports camera formats, so if you downloaded pictures to your pc then saved them as anything other than the exact format you downloaded them, then you can't use them. For me this means any pictures i rotated then saved, any i removed 'red eye' on or touched up in any way. The supplied documentation clearly admits this, but nevertheless it's a major drawback, and seriously limits it's use

Should have bought one ages ago!!!

If you own a HD tv with component sockets and a Digital camera over 3 megapixels that uses sd or sdhc cards. Buy this little device it produces wonderful pictures on your tv screen. I have transferred photos from my pc, images taken with a Sony a100,Fuji finepix s20 and a Panasonic tz4, on to an sdhc card and all work perfectly. Device comes with a mains adapter and component lead.It will play video, but you will need to supply your own audio lead. Play.com price an absolute bargain.

Anything photo over a 3MP is capible of being displayed in HD the problem is no digital photoframe on the market is HD....as yet.
This little card reader plugs straight in to the component slot on your LCD/Plasma and will play your photos as a slide show through your TV in HD! Its looks amazing and you realise what your missing from not viewing them in HD the colours are so deep and images crystal clear! The most ipressive thing about the card reader is it breaks your photos down into a calendar by the days they were taken so its really easy to navigate through the days of your holiday or events.
