I bought a pair of these a year ago, for £30; I was very impressed with them then, after a decent burn-in. Of course, they are open-back headphones, with all the caveats which accompany them (ie. they leak sound like crazy, so don't wear them outside), and unless you drive them with a decent amp they can be a bit harsh and trebly - but such is the way of decent headphones. However, bring a decent source to the party and you're rewarded with a clarity, depth and airiness that I'd expect to have paid over £50 for - so they were a bargain at £30. At £16, they're an absolute steal! I have two pairs of Sennheiser HD201s, which are extremely respectable headphones themselves and well worth every 5-star review they've ever been given - but A/Bing them with these? Night and day. These are audibly superior headphones, and now they're more or less the same price... Oh, and the cord plugs into the headphones with a 3.5mm stereo jack; if you have a large headphone jack on your source, invest in a 3.5mm to 6.3mm stereo patch cable and chuck the adaptor that comes with these.
