TomTom ONE XL V2 Sat Nav System (UK & ROI)

I've just bought one of these to replace my old V1 Tom Tom One, and I'm very pleased. As for Haleem's previous review, I can only assume you have a different model my friend! Mine came with everything you would expect - charger, usb cable etc. You don't need an SD slot as 1gb of memory is built in. The design is much more pleasing than the old version - much slimmer and more compact. The new easyport cradle attached to the unit is excellent and the main reason I bought this model. My old cradle just kept falling off the windscreen and bouncing off the dash, which I can only assume was what made it stop working!! This one however uses a gadget which tightens it securely to the window once you've put it there.
There are more options, a clearer display and an easier interface than the old version aswell.
Don't be tempted by the cheaper prices of the outgoing models, get a V2 like this and you won't be dissapointed.

i didnt buy this from play, and it isnt as good as it looks, there is no sd card slot as with v1, also no accessories like a mains charger and carry case. the mount on the back is a bit tricky to use aswell.

I bought this as a kind of "cheap and cheerful" sat nav as a upgrade from my old tomtom, its great! Very easy to set up and finds satelites faster then the older versions..the screen is very clear and you can set a password if you need to, it would have a 5 but the new windscreen mount is far to fiddely and that should just keep it simple how it used to be.
