This was my very first sat nav, and I'm so pleased! Its extremely easy to use, clear daytime maps, night vision maps, clear sound, you can choose between a male and female voice, the screen is just the right size... I could go on forever. There is also a great HELP option incase you ever breakdown, with first aid tips and everything. Its easy to navigate local facilities, everything from places to eat to tourist attractions. I also love the fact that when you are approaching a roundabout, it gives you plenty of time to change lanes if you need to, by telling you early. Its the ultimate sat nav out there at the moment!

I bought a Nav Gear about 18 months ago and it is inferior compared to this smashing little gadget. I lost speed cameras and it seemed to take ages to connect. No updates.
Now on to the tom tom well what can i say. For the price it is excellent value. Map sharing and updating route demo nifty little sucker attachment. Screen is clear and user friendly. The menus are easy to understand and if not there are demos. Speed warning which you can set accordingly. And many more. And it does fit into your pocket. Only thing not a gripe is that there is no mains charger.
Well done Tom Tom excellent piece of kit. Would defo reccomend.

Very good for the price, but please note it does not have the traffic update facility, so it won't automatically reroute you around traffic jams.
