Great bit of kit, good screen. So easy to use, super recordings and a very handy size but it eats batteries, some brands in under 60 seconds. Only the duracel will do more than 15 miutes.

Great device, till i used it to film a whole concert, at the end after it was downloaded, the recording time would not reset, and i could not record anything else, lost the chance to film a lot more. Still had no help from Flip Video on how to solve the problem, not great after care service. Went to their site and did all they said to fix the problem, but still no good, will not record anything now! Very frustrating, and its a common problem they dedicate alot of space on the site to this problem.

The Flip is shipped requiring a Critical Update, for which you need to connect to their support site. However, since neither my PC (running XP) or my laptop (Vista) could recognise the Flip once connected via USB I couldn't apply the update, let alone transfer video.
On the plus side, it was very easy to actually take video and is not a bad looking piece of kit.

Great product but if they put a simple memory card slot in to increase the memory it could have been so much better
