Sennheiser PX 100 Mini-Headphones Black

I dont usually leave reviews for some reason but for these headphones i felt i had to, i have been using really poor replacement in-ear phones for my ipod for nearly a year which have been poor, crackly and uncomfortable to wear. Shopped around and found the px100's on play cheaper than anywhere else on the net, anyway, back to the phones... basically the sound is incredible, not being a massive headphone techno geek i dont know alot, all i know is the clarity warmth bass and general punchiness of the sound of these headphones is absolutely spot on.

I am giving these 4.5/5 and not 5 purely because they look as though if you sneezed near them they would break, the box is pointless as well in my opinion. they are very comfy and light tho on the plus side, excellent phones for what i want, (listening at work, and i couldnt give a rats arse about sound leakage, in fact i want other people to hear that i am listening to awesome music so they can stop destroying the world by buying leona lewis albums and turn into metal fans instead....

I listen usuall to Rock Music, but i vary my faves. and listen to all genres: Pop, RnB, DnB, Classical, Etc..
The Bass is just right and the sound is perfect!

I'm currently using mine for guitar/piano recording uses at home (Lapping) and they work perfectly!

But even more amazing this was originally made for travel uses!
It comes in a really smart sturdy case, that is not a hassel one bit to store in your bag or pocket on your travelling.

The Jack-put is straight and there is less chance of bending the connection between the jack-put and the wire because it is not L-shaped.

The head phones fold outwards into a strong enough arch with a bit of padding on the spine and ear-piece/headphones.. Adjustable for all head sizes and not to heavy!

YOU WON'T REGRET!

I bought these headphones to replace an elderly pair of Sennheisers I've been using on my Creative Zen Xtra mp3 player for years, but having given them a whirl on my in home system they've made me realise how awful my main headphones are! I didn't expect any huge difference but comparing them the bass and treble response is amazing, at first I thought they were slightly boomy and then I realised that's because my ears had been tainted by my bass-less previous Panasonic RP-HT222's... which are full sized closed backs and the PX100 STILL outperforms them with oodles of bass! Didn't expect that.
They fold down and have a carrying case which means they're great for portability, they're also extremely comfortable and light, you barely notice they're sitting on your head when using them...
Music sounds dynamic, channel separation is perfect and I'd recommend these to anyone, especially at the price Play is selling them at and especially if you're used to bundled-in-the-box in-ear monstrosities!!!

After reading a few other reviews I decided to buy a pair of these and I don't regret it at all.

They are small,light weight, fold up and come with a nice case.

But the main thing is the sound quality, it is like wearing a larger pair of headphones especially when you hear the bass, you have to hear them to believe them.

When i bought my sennheiser headphones i cud not wait for them to arrive, but i didnt expect them to be as good a they really are.
One word describes them...

BRILLANT !

They are perfect if you listen to rock,and just as good as good if you listen to anything else !
Best headphones on the market if you dont want to pay too much.
