  Exaggerated Capacity

It claims to be 1000mah but I tested both that I ordered with a few different cables and they only put out 466mah which is about the same as what the USB sockets on my Pc put out, so it takes more than twice as long to charge as my genuine 1000mah charger that came with my phone.

  Works on speakers

Bought one of these to power a pair of portable speakers and it worked fine, so I'm happy, although it has a green "on" light, which I wasn't expecting. I did also try to use it to charge a phone and it didn't work, so I guess it's not designed for that level of power.

Cheap, fast delivery, but after charging my sat nav and removing the plug from the mains socket the front cover came clean off leaving the inner workings exposed, the two small posts inside the front cover had snapped, it charged my device ok but is now held together with insulation tape, buyers beware.

  Excellent gadget. Fast Service

I am always wary of anything made in China, but this gadget works well. And, as it takes mains input ranging from 100V to 280V, it should work in North America and Europe. Fast service too. Ordered Saturday. Received noon Tuesday.Excellent.

  No surprises

Arrived surprisingly quickly. Works. However anxious about breaking off and leaving, in the electricity socket, the plastic earth connection - as highlighted by other reviewers. I've therefore decided to permanently leave the charger in a socket that I can switch off and on and connect the appropriate USB cable for the device being charged.

  Wish I knew earlier!

Like I said above, i wish i had discovered this earlier. Found it so useful for charging Wii remotes, mp3 players and charging phones when the mains adapter has gone walkies.
Looks a bit plasticky, but actually well built and tough. Great idea.

  Perfect for the job

This charger works well. It is 100mA at 5V and has a red LED to indicate that it is powered up. It appears to be reasonably sturdy and very good value.

  Flimsy design, but very cheap.

The USB port is very poor and any slight movement to the plug and cable will cause the power to be interrupted.

Also the plastic "ground pin" snapped off within one day of use..into the power socket when removing the plug..extremely weak plastic.
