I have used one of these Itronics mp3 players on a daily basis for nearly two years. It has lasted so long and is still in perfect working order. It has taken one hell of a beating and still works as well as it did the day I bought it.

Also, 8GB for just £34.99 is phenomenal.

 great value for huge space

I recently bought this, as I already had the old 4GB version, which I've had for well over a year and used it all the time. The new version differs slightly from the picture on the website and is a tiny bit bigger than the old version. However, it has not lost any of the value. It has a clear display and great sound, much better than the old one and good choice in equaliser settings, although I tend to use the rock setting most times. I also like the blue backlight display which is better than the old 7 colour one. The menu is easy to navigate and it has a great sliding mode control which makes it easier to use as there are less buttons, so you can change modes faster. This great value for a bargain price, having this much space means that I can leave all my favourite music on it and still have room for new downloads without having to take my old faves off to fit the new stuff. If you are looking for bargain, then you'd find it hard to beat this for price and performance. I've only had this a week and I am very impressed. It just goes to prove you don't have to buy a huge name to get a great product!!

This is a great MP3 Player. It has all the features you'd expect PLUS it recognises folders you have created yourself (most other players just work from the 'original album data' ) so you can do your own compilations then just drag 'n' drop them onto the player.
Try it with some 'Philips SHS8000 High End Earhook Earphones' for the best results.

 8GB Version

I had the 4gb version before I upgraded. The best thing I ever did. The menu is better to naviagate with the slide switch, better menu display for the budget MP3 player. Mine is in use alot as it is compact but the design is different to picture. Head phone socket is on the side which can be problem on occasions otherwise I would recommend it to anyone who is after one on a budget.

I've had this mp3 for ages now and it's lasted well, no damage to it whatsoever. At first I wasn't sure about it but you get used to it and now i've had it for such a long time I love it. The 8gb of space is brilliant for the price too. Strangely the player itself is slightly different to that in the image but this isn't an issue to me. The price is amazing -- most mp3 players have only half the 8gb space for this price. I would like an mp3 player with like 12-16gb but that'd likely cost more than i'm willing to really pay -- I can't stand iPod's so they're out of the question. Only reason I don't like paying too much is in case something careless happens. If it's a reasonably cheap mp3 player then it's not so much of a loss if it somehow happens to break or get lost or anything.

Overall this player is next to perfect, no faults. I'd recommend buying this if you like carrying lots of music on the go. Two gripes though is the supplied headphones suck -- uncomfortable and short lead. I bought my own earphones and had no issues. Gripe 2 is the instruction manual, it's not specific, has no contents page and is poorly laid out so if this is your first mp3 player you might struggle. Since this is my 3rd player i'm used to ussing them and worked this out without the manual.
