I've got the 4GB version of this, but I'm thinking I should've got the 8GB now it's only a tenner more. Anyway, it works well, sounds great, easy to use - all good!

EDIT: some people mention that there is no hold function to prevent the buttons being pressed accidentally. There is though - hold down play and rec. It's in the instructions....

 Ultimately, this is good value!

If there is a problem with this player, it's the lack of in-depth instructions (the buttons on the player serve multiple functions), but if you have any queries they can be answered on the website named in the basic user manual. As for users' having problems with 'crashing' and an 'unresponsive' touch screen, these issues are easily solved by going to 'system tools' in the player's 'set up' and using the 'refresh' and/or 'reset', 'format' functions. Once you know the geography of the player, it's a bargain, especially given all the functions it performs at its budget price. The naysayers' niggles are mostly solvable with a little patient on-line research, so make the purchase, it may not be an i-pod, but at 30 quid, this is still amazing value!

 I really liked this product!!

We purchased this mp3 player for my nephews 7th birthday as we thought it was an excellent price for what it could do.
I loaded all of his favourite songs on it and, once I had familiarised myself with how it worked, I was really impressed with its performance and available memory.
The operational manual was on the disc provided but I found contacting the help web address just as useful as you could download the manual from there and your questions were easily answered.
An excellent product, great value for money. All it needs is a little patience and a bit of common sense!

 Shockingly poor

Lets get the positives first, it plays music just about and the radio is very good! But apart from that ive had some big problems. The first problem is a reoccuring issue with the touchpad. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt work, depends how its feeling. Its really annoying to use cause sometimes you have to wait a while for it to load what you touched for. As well as this i keep getting the problem of system error which means that even when i reset the thing it keeps coming up with. It still allows me to play music but means that i cant view photos, or even go onto classified and view artists and genres. The artists as well are not in order... This cheap piece of music hardware is clearly not going to last long and the only reason i havent chucked it out is cause its still playing music some of the time. I thought i would save some money by getting this instead of another mp3, i now regrett it!

 not at all impressed
