But play didn't send us the memory cards (16Gb) and we ordered 2 of the players! The player itself is so far very good, not very loud but very clear. The software is very fast. Unfortuanetely some of the albums I put on it do not register in the "Album" folder or the "Artist" folder and I have to search for each song in the "All Songs" folder - which takes forever. This is the only reason it has 4*'s and not 5!

I've only had this for a few days but I am very impressed. Navigation is easy (and much better than any 'wheel' based systems cough cough). Sound is superb, and the earphones are actually very good, which is unusual for a bundled set.
The only issue I'm having is accessing the SD card. I bought this with a 16gb Play.com card and any time I try to access it it freezes the player and I have to do a soft reset. I've tried formatting the SD card but same results. I won't take marks off for this though cuz I'm guessing it's more than likely the memory card, and not the player, at fault here (sorry Play!).
I have only had a quick look at the wireless features and so far, so impressive.
File transfer is as easy as drag-and-drop, or you can use the bundled software which is okay (but installs a lot of stuff you'll probably never use).

Great sound, great navigation, great features, solid build, clear screen. Great!

No doubt this is a powerful piece of kit but to those who have bought this. Does it come with any memory card. Cos specs say it can handle memory cards, just wondering if it comes with any.

This is the best player i have bought, and iv had so many of them. Iv always liked creative than the ipod anyway, this is a must buy for anyone looking for a new mp3 player couldn't be happier with it, sounds really good with my skullcandy headphones.

I have always bought creative products and been please with their performance. However when the X-fi Zen was released i thought just another product, but i was wrong. The claims by the pro mo is spot on. The enhanced sound is fantastic and plugeed into my high end hi fi is as good if not better than a CD, Guys and Girls buy this you will not be disappointed, it out performs other makes of players in this price range yes i mean the gimmicky Ipods.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Simply Brilliant

Well what can I say this to me is better than the Ipod and I own both, the software is more user friendly, if you have a Divx file and the system doesn't support it the software doesn't throw errors at you complaining it simply begins converting it by its self and then transfers it to the Zen, the Wi Fi is brilliant all my music and videos stored on my Windows home server are simply played through it so rather than only having 16GB of space it actually has 2TB of space from my server, so when I'm at home I have no need to transfer all of my music to the Zen just play them from the server, and when I want to go somewhere transfer them to the Zen simple.
The Zen GUI is fast and very simple to use the on board speaker is not great but why do you need it? same with the microphone but these are features I have no need to use.
For simplicity this is bliss far simpler than the Ipod and much smaller.
Picture quality is great I don't think I would want to view an entire movie on it but if I was travelling for a while this would suffice for a sort avi film.
Great device well worth it.
