Unfortunately I have just had to return this tripod to Play.Com as it nearly cost me my digital SLR. The three way head came clear of the housing on its second outing. I know that this is a budget tripod, but the caveat is 'Buyer Beware'. If your camera is any heavier than a lightweight digital snapper - don't trust it to this tripod, it is really worth investing in something more substantial and professional. On the plus side, Play have dealt promptly and courteously again with my complaint.

I decided to get a tripod for my new camera. Based on another review, I decided to buy this one. What you get for the money is amazing. Great buy.

Customer rating: 2 out of 5 stars At first, seems value for money, but as time progresses....

I just about got this camera tripod, and i thought it was great at first, however, the thread that connects the tripod head with the body is plastic, and wears very very easily, now the head cant even balance properly, very cheaply made, but what do you expect for the price. I will be returning this

Really interesred to buy one after reading positive reports about this tripod unfortunately the weight is no where to be found. This is paramount before I purchase 'cause of trekking and I need something really light. Please advise A.S.A.P. Many thanks.
PS Could not find "contact"

For the price, this tripod is brilliant and is just what I need. I recently bought my first Digital SLR (Canon Eos 350D) and this tripod is great for that (and every other camera).
The 3-way head is a big advantage of owning a tripod at such a low price as well as the perfect fit case which is really light weight.
Overall, a must have for any photographer!
