I can help! You need to use the same spec battery as the ones that came with the camera, i had the exact same fault until i got the same batterys that came with it.

  Great but one problem?

Hi this is a great camera for taking day to day pix. I have changed batteries after using the standard batteries, but now I cannot get the camera to switch on. The green light comes on if you hold the button, but thats it. Does this camera require special batteries?

Firstly I must point out I haven't used the camera as it is a Christmas gift for my parents. However based on appearance it looks great, light weight, small and all for less than £50. Ideal for their ski holiday next week.

Amazing cam. Come very fast and is small, but so nice. Id say it is worth £70-£80.

although it doesnt mention it, the cam has a big screen on the back (2.5).

And to answer the question below, it uses battery's. Search play for 'Fameart AA Batteries / Charger With Camera Case'. Half price when brought with the cam. A perfect deal when brought with a £6.99 4gb SD card.

This isnt a review, its more of a question. Does the camera use batteries or is it rechargeable?

  Should I buy?

I'm going on holiday in the New Year and I currently have a Canon Powershot A400 which seems very slow and sometimes poor picture quality, I was just wondering whether it would be worth buying this one as I don't know much about cameras, is it any better than the one i've got? Any help would be appreciated

What can say its a good all round camera with good features such as face regonision etc. Which i didnt epect a camera in its class will have. I will advice ppl to get it sharpish! Because it will vanish soon, its a very good practical camera with impressive picture resolution. (And yes it does include batteries now).
