Griffin Elan Form Leather Case For Apple iPod Touch 2nd Gen

Not bought from this site but so good had to talk about it. After trying a couple of other cases (gear4 and belikin) this one fits the bill. Firstly it makes the ipod touch feel solid in your hand and not like it'll slip from your mitts at any moment and finally at last(maybe more by luck) the screen protector went on perfectly without those unsightly airbubbles and smears. The fact the lower part comes away for easy docking was just an added bonus imo. Maybe pricey but worth it in the end, just a shame I had a few duffers before I tried this.

This is an excellent iPod Touch case.

It is well designed and a perfect fit. Over the years I have purchased a few different cases (for my various iPod players) but have finally concluded that Griffin manufacture the best.

This case is essentially designed to stay on your iPod Touch all the time to protect it in daily use (although you can remove it carefully without causing any damage your player). If you want to remove the iPod Touch from its case every day this is probably not the best solution for you. However, I bought an easily removable Belkin (slip) case and noticed that after a couple of months the magnetic catch had actually created a huge dent in the back of my iPod. Not cool.

Once the novelty of staring at your naked iPod Touch has worn off (probably around the same time you get fed up with polishing off your sticky finger prints) you'll probably want a case that can actually protect it. This is it. The case comes with a screen protector and cleaning cloth too, which is surprising considering the competitive price. The case looks and feels expensive.

I bought this one when it first came out and I was very happy with it then and I am still very happy with it now. I just bought another one for my sister, and she loves it too.

Like other cases from Griffin this one also comes with a cleaning cloth and a screen protector which is excellent (other companies charge you just for a screen protector!) just take your time putting it on. I've got two other cases, but I keep this one on more than the other two! It's a very secure fit and makes the iPod feel very sturdy and safe, even when I drop it! It looks very cool too.

After shopping around I chose the Griffin Elan case as I wanted a great looking leather case to protect my New Touch, this case is exactly what I wanted , the ipod touch fits perfectly and the leather looks a lot more expensive than the cost would indicate. A real quality product in my opinion

As the guy below said the case is great and feels really solid in the hand. It does not cover the external volume controls to answer the question below... It comes with a screen protector which seemed to fit really easily with no real noticeable air bubbles.

Overall it is a great item and a must have for anyone with a new i pod touch
