Got these for 17.99 direct from play.. good sound qualitty .. I personally dnt play at full volume because they r pretty loud so volume isn't an issue.. only slight issue is they tend to slip out of my ears when dancing lol .. I highly reccomend though (Y)

Good sound very poor build quality

My 3rd pair of Sennheiser earphones this year has just packed in. They were working a week ago, sat untouched on a table and now the sound is all messed up.

I'm sick of returning Sennheiser products so will be binning these and buying another make. In my experience you should stay well clear of Sennheiser products.

  Good sound, bad build quality...

I bought these after reading all of the reviews and putting it down to those few people who gave it a bad rating just being unlucky. They weren't.

I think most people write a review the week after they get stuff, and if that's the case these headphones are amazing. Give it a couple of months, as I did, and you'll be going nuts. They basically fell apart on me. The worst part of the design was the L shaped headphone jack, which is basically an invitation to break when it's in your pocket.

Rubbish, even for this price. I'd spend a bit more to get something that's going to last you as long as it'd take to listen to the whole of your itunes library!

  Excellent value

Really comfortable and good-sounding earphones from one of the top names. I've been using Senns for years, and they've not let me down yet.

Buy these for Sound Quality and Comfort!!!!!

I was blown away by these little beauties. If you've got an iPod, MP3 or even an iPhone (we have all 3 in our family and they work with all of them) and you want to hear the highs and lows within your music, buy these. The bass is superb, quality I have never heard in any type of buds before and the ear adaptors (choice of 3 sizes) allow you to fit the buds with the exact size of cover to fit your ears. Just a word of advice, if you are intending to use these for vigorous Gym workouts, think again. Running is fine, with the right size of ear adaptor, but go for the Sennheiser sports headphones for other sports activities. If you are on the move, these are the perfect partner for your gadget and at Play's price, equals unbelieveable value. 5+ Stars from me!!

A must have purchase for music fans

I purchased my CX 300-IIs from Play.com - had to post a review as they are simply incredible. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. The bass is really deep and clean, they are really comfortable to wear as well. Have also noticed some of the other reviews refer to poor sound and build quality - I know there are some counterfeit issues out there with Sennheiser CX 300-IIs, so my advice would be to beware, if the price is too low, then the headphones are probably fake and it sounds to me as though a number of folk on here have been caught out. It is not worth the risk. I have had Sennheiser's for many years and have always sounded great and lasted well. These too if purchased from a reliable source will not disappoint.

  Great sound and Build quality

I bought my pair of CX 300 mark II direct from Play.com and I have to say that I was really impressed with the sound quality as soon as I plugged them into to Ipod, they seem to get better the more you use them aswell. The build quality also seems great to me too

  Ok, for a week...

Initially, the sound quality of the headphones was very good. But less than a week later, one earphone stopped working correctly: it now is about 10x quieter than the other (making it impossible to hear it) and is extremely poor sound quality.
I took great care in not cramming them into my pocket as they are more expensive than the headphones I usually buy, but they broke regardless.
Overall, a complete waste of my money.

  Good buy (so far)

These headphones are an improvement on the original CX300s as the lead+jack is longer and sturdier. The eco packaging (if you can buy that version still) is preferable but a bit of a puzzle to get into. However its much better than the plastic-packed version which is like Fort Knox unless you have metal cutters handy. Have only had them a month but sound quality is still as it should be - excellent. I think provided you treat them with respect and store in the neat pouch provided when not using them you should be fine.
