  The best headphones by far

| | See all Jarvis84's reviews (1)

I wanted headphones that would be as good in the office for isolation as they were for long distance running and gym workouts and these are stunning. I have tried a number of headphones and these are the best. I use the supplied rubber attachments (lots to choose from) and these create a seal at the point the headphone sits in the ear - I find this is the key to music quality (apart from the source!). I still can't believe how much bass these things deliver :)

  I was extremely dissapointed!

I bought these headphones as they seemed to be most secure for physical activity from what I read. A past reviewer said they wont fall out and decent sound but not a great fit. When I tried them it's a horrible fit. There are many attachments to help but they still end up being uncomfortable and the twist and lock thing didn't work at all. If you can manage to get them to fit then the sound is good but apart from that it is not recommended!

good but take the advertising with a pinch of salt

From the moment you open the box these head phones come in you'll know that they are a quality purchase. The plastic inner wrapping isn't welded around the edges like so many other products, so gaining entry to your purchase doesn't require a pneumatic drill or crowbar. The pouch supplied is made of a soft silicone, closes with a magnetic clasp and comes filled with an almost exessive number of attachments designed to help adjust the earphones to achive the perfect fit.
Sound quality appears to be quite good but remember that the overall quality of the music in your ear will depend largely on the quality of the original source and what bitrate/eq settings were applied to it during recording.
The cord is as you would expect a cord to connect it to your device but i found that it was just a little too long and kept flapping around, however there is a clip provided in amoungst the large number of accessories provided.
For me the fit was a bit of a let down, after using every attachment provided in every possible combination the fit was at best "OK". I've used them many times at the gym now and they have never fallen out, not once but the design of the twist to fit system seems push the speaker portion flat against the ear rather than keeping it postioned over the ear canal leading to muted volume and much lower base output.
So if you are looking for earphones that don't fall out/ have good sound quailty then these will do fine but perfect fit? No.

  MX75 to MX85 - i'm sold

I previously had the mx75s, these worked well, had good sound quality, the only problem was that they ear adapters were quite rigid and became uncomfortable and sore after a while. Then one of my earphones stopped working and the wire had become to come away at the base.

So...with the new twist to fit system something that i wanted, i found these. They are almost the same as the mx75s, and come with the same kit - a carry case, cable clip, ear adapter set, earphone rings and sponge covers. But senn have improved the ear adapters and made them more flexible giving them a more comfortable fit and rubbing doesn't occur like on the previous peices.

An excellent piece of kit for the gym especially if you find that your earohones fall out all the time. The sound quality is awesome, and the bass is relatively solid (not hugely "boomtastic", but good nevertheless). Very good for the price, well worth the money, buy! =)

The only problem i now have is that the orange colour scheme doesn't match with my bright green nano like the 75s did! =D
