The 2-star rating is nothing to do with the audio quality as that is superb and they are comfy to wear but I have to warn people about the longevity of the item.
I bought these as I had already gone through 2 sets of SkullCandy's Ink'd headfones & from the reviews of these I thought I had found a pair to last. Note that I use headphones daily (for about 2hrs) but always take good care of them so they are not breaking due to misuse. Bought these on May 5th, after 2 weeks they had a fault that would cause my iPod to pause(?!), I know this wasn't the iPod as it worked fine with the standard iPod headphones. By 22nd June they were playing up and on 26th the left side gave up, this basically means I've had roughly 7 weeks use out of them, about the same as the Ink'd headphones that were slightly cheaper. Far from happy, wouldnt mind if I had misused them but I took good care of them and still they've broken.

Ignore any bad reviews you may read on here, its absolute tosh! These headphones are the ducks nuts, I to listen a range of bassy music and acoustic and found them find fine, almost as good as a set bang and olufsen ones I borrowed from my sister. I can only put it down to buyers not swapping the rubber ear pieces round the head phone itself to fit their lug holes properly, this is essential for a comy fit and of course for the actual amplified sound of the bass itself! A quality buy for £17.99.
Have not been running in them as yet, so can't comment. My mate had a pair though and he said they're fine.
Gave only four * due to slight sound on feedback of cable trough plugs as if it were a doctors stethoscope but not noticed once music is playing, oh and packaging is poor, mission to get open!
