Excellent LCD TV. I connected it to a PS3 and SkyHD and the picture quality is very sharp after adjust the default settings. I owned a Philips LCD TV in the past (800:1 contrast ratio) and this (100,000:1) Sony with the BE3 is vastly superior at is definitely noticeable, even compared to my friends new Samsung LCD TVs.
When playing HD avi and mp4 movies through the PS3, this Sony TV virtually eliminates picture noise, and the black scenes are very good. The sound quality is also very good for watching normal TV and I hardly have to use my 5.1 home cinema system much. The MotionFlow 100Hz is a waste of time, and makes watching movies feel unnatural, I just leave it turned off, and I haven't noticed much difference in games or sports either.
Although the HD content is amazing and consistent, some of the SD channels through the HDMI appear blurry (like the Asian channels, come on Sky sort it out, we need more HD channels, and all for free).
Overall I am very pleased with this purchase from play.com. I bought in on a Monday, got it delivery 8 days later on Tuesday morning (5 working days). I was worried at first as I could not track the order online, but I was called by play on Friday with a delivery date and time, and on the day the driver (very nice guy) called me 30mins before (now thats what I call good customer service).
