Sony SRS GU10 iP / iPod/iPhone Speaker Dock

awesome product rated highly! recommend on the price aswell a must buy!

I've been looking for a docking station for a while now. I'm wary about buying something like this without hearing the sound quality first, but after reading all the reviews i decided to go for this one.

I'm glad i did. The sound quality is very good and for the price i can't complain. Would definitely recommend this dock.

Amazing little docking station. My wife bought me this for Xmas and I have been so impressed with it. Great sound, great design, and a great price (even though I didn't pay!!). It is also very easy to use, the remote is kept simple - just the essential buttons. The bass is quite powerful but if you don't like it, you can turn the bass boost off.

I would definitely recommend this product to everyone.

I got this as a christmas present and I am really pleased. It is easy to control your Ipod with the remote and the sound is brilliant. Although I was surprised that I didn't get the batteries to go with the remote like you usually do, luckily we had some.

bought this last christmas and i was immediatelt impressed buy the quality of the sound. It is really well built and has a sleak and contempory design.

fixtures fit superbly well and is a must buy product for all.

After reading many positive reviews and having experience with other Sony sound systems I ordered the above speaker dock.

What a mistake ! The sound has too much base and mid range which it delivers in a semi asphyxiated way , even using the (limited) EQ on the Ipod doesn't improve the sound balance much.

Listen to it before buying !

I had been looking for a docking station for a long time and I am so delighted that I bought this one. The reviews on Play.com for this item are 'spot-on'. It was so easy to set up- it took me all of two minutes (and I am usually useless at that sort of thing). It looks modern, sleek and expensive and the sound quality is really excellent. I can't believe that such a high quality sound can be produced by a relatively inexpensive dock- even when volume is turned up really loud.
I have never written a review before, but I am so thrilled with this item that I can't help myself! If you are looking for top quality but don't want to spend a fortune- look no further- this is the one for
you.

I have been looking for some speakers for my iPod and iPhone for ages. We went away last week for a couple of days and our hotel room had these speakers - I was so impressed with the sound quality and how easy it was to use that I placed an order as soon as I got home. It arrived this morning and I am not disappointed one little bit. For 70 quid you can't go wrong - the sound quality is much better than that of some of the more expensive speakers available on the market. If you are considering buying these - you will not be disappointed!

I did lots of research (reading many many reviews) before purchasing this item and I was impressed by others comments. Well I have to say, they are all correct, the quality of this product is awesome!!!

First thing I noticed, before even using the equipment, it was packaged to a high standard (the unit was wrapped in a soft cloth) - nice one Sony!

But once it was all set up and ready to go ....... awesome sound, stylish looking, great remote ..... just brilliant!!!!

This is another great piece of kit from Sony.
For the price and size the SRSGU10iP is pretty much unmatched.

The unit has power, vol and input source switch buttons, and that is it.
The simple remote has mute, power, input switch, bass boost and vol, and also has keys for operating the iPod via the menu system. And it is not a rubbish credit-card style remote (It takes 2 x aaa batteries)
Whilst instructions for remote operation of menus say compatability varies, it has worked fine with a classic 160, and a video nano for us.
The unit comes with lots of docking adaptors for various models inc. iPhone, and they are easily switched without broken fingernails or the sound of snapping plastic! (Just read the instructions!)

Full, warm sound that does not seem to distort at volume.

The unit feels well made. It looks great, and is perfectly adequate for a bedroom or other reasonable sized room.
Comes with a standard plug and figure-8 power lead, and a small laptop-esque transformer, rather than a big plug-in transformer, which means it can be plugged in behind furniture e.g. a bookcase without protruding!
