If you go to the what-hifi website you will see that they have awarded both this model and the 7000 model with five stars not four. Also it may be listed as an LCD TV in the info description, don't panic or get confused as I did. It's the same telly.

If your wondering; the 7000 model is exclusive to several other stores and its just a different colour. Rose red power light and trim.

LED back lighting finally puts LED TVs back on form up against plasma screens. The LEDs turn off making your black as black as the TV screen when powered off.

There are some concerns though about LED light failure. The life of new technology can never truly be measured till its had a few years to run its course. Mean time to failure quoted by manufacturers can't be trusted. The 5-year warranty would be a must.

i bought this samsung LED having read many reviews about it,to replace an old sony lcd,it really is thin compared to my old sony,the must publicsed widgets are easy to use but having to fork out for the wireless dongle needed to access the internet is short sighted on samsung's part,overall HD pics are excellent as well as standard def stuff,feed it skyHD or BD pictures and you will be impressed..

I was lucky enough to win one of these and this TV really does have the WOW factor. The picture is crystal clear and the overall design is simply beautiful. I would recomend some external speakers as the ones in the TV do lack that bit of oomph needed when watching movies. Great with a PS3, overall you won't find better at the moment in this price range.

i got this t v and it is the biggest waist of money if you are like me dont rush ahead for the looks of a tv go for quality as this t v is overpriced just because it is a slim t v i would go with samsung series 6 half the price and it is just as good
