A clever little camera.

The ES15 is such a clever little camera, with all the features you'd expect like Digital Image Stabilisation for anti-blur and the must have face detection. And it's so easy to use, thanks to its "Photo Help Guide" providing you with troubleshooting solutions if you encounter any problems.


10.2 Megapixels
High picture quality is obtained by employing a 10.2 mega pixel 1/2.33" high resolution CCD sensor. Clear picture quality can be enough resolution for printing up to poster size. A robust mounted image processor allows for rich gradation, fast and high quality picture processing.



Beauty Shot
The Beauty Shot feature is like having your own make-up artist - right in your camera. It automatically identifies imperfections such as blemishes and dark spots on the face, and retouches them so that faces appear brighter and smooth. And with different level settings, you can control the amount of retouching that takes place - it's that simple!



Face Detection
With the Face Detection function, you can now take better portrait pictures with ease. The function is able to distinguish faces from the rest of the background and automatically focus on them. It can then adjust the brightness of the faces so that your portraits come out perfect every time.



Digital Image Stabilisation (DIS)
Thanks to the enhanced sensitivity of SAMSUNG's imaging sensor and Digital Image Stabilisation (DIS) technology, you can rest assured that you'll be able to capture beautifully clear images - even in low-light situations. So if flash photography is not an option, don't worry because Samsung's DIS will quickly become your trusted friend.



ISO 1600
The Samsung ES15 has an auto sensitivity feature that automatically adjusts sensitivity according to the ambient exposure conditions up to ISO 1600. The high sensitivity setting of ISO 1600 lets you take clearer pictures, in poor lighting conditions, without camera shake or image blurring.



Red Eye Fix
A special red-eye fix algorithm on the camera automatically eliminates red-eye from your pictures. You can remove red-eye during image playback or, for even greater convenience, set the camera to automatically detect and eliminate red-eye from your shots as they are taken.



2.5" Intelligent LCD
The Samsung ES15 has a 2.5" LCD for improved contrast and colour reproduction, allowing you to enjoy a wider and clearer image. Also the Samsung ES15's intelligent LCD brightness automatically detects environmental illumination and adjusts LCD brightness for optimal image viewing.

 Worth the cost

Good quality photos and easy to use, only down side is the supplied CD is blank, and feels like the battery cover could easily break if heavy handed changing them.

All in all a good camera for the price

In terms of picture quality I must admit I was quite impressed, especially with the beauty shot feature which you can use retouch photos to 3 different levels. I was however really dissappointed that it only takes AA batteries, mine are dead already and I don't think I've taken that many photos. I realise it says this in the description but my last Samsung camera was also needed 2 AA batteries but also accepted a single li-ion battery. I think its an ok buy but you do really get what you pay for. It has a cheap look and feel to it, is quite bulky and I do feel like I'm a bit disappointed with my purchase overall. Wish I'd paid a bit more and got a better one.

First of all I got this within 2 days of buying it!! it already has a charged battery and took a few shots fully zoomed and got a good picture. Hooled it up to my t.v and the video wasn't great but it was poor lighting and my t.v is 37" so probs need to tweek the settings. Very good esp for the price.

 Simple, affordable, easy to use camera, but thats it.

This is a good camera, its lightweight and functional design makes it great for anytime shooting. It feels a bit cheap and plasticky but good pictures and the price make up for it. I would recomend it to anyone wanting to buy it as a first camera or someone on a budget. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and I've peace of mind with the Samsung 2 year warranty. Also praise to PLAY.COM too, I orderd on the the 12th and it arrived on the 15th, very quick and FREE delivery, thumbs up! :-)
