5 Great TV and an excellent priceneilinoxford | 02/05/2007 | See all neilinoxford's reviews (1)I've had one of these pieces of kit since January 2006 and I've been extremely happy with it. I've had no problems with it at all and the picture is very impressive. The sound is also perfectly acceptable for general viewing. When I got this TV, it cost £640 and it was retailing at £800 in most places. I was happy with the price then so the current price is amazing (even with the new model including 2 HDMI ports is coming soon). The only 2 (minor) complaints I have about this system are:1) It only has one HDMI port (more of an issue now than when I bought it)2) Switch between inputs could be nicer as you have to step through each external input to get to HDMI rather than having AV1, AV2, AV3, VGA, HDMI buttons. It is however clever enough that if you have it on HDMI from watching a DVD (for example) but put on a scart source, it automatically shows the scart source. When you turn the HDMI device on, it automatically switches back to it as well.Overall, a very nice TV and exceptional value for money. If I was looking for a second TV (I prefer 40" + for a main TV) then I would happily buy or recommend one of these TV's, or any other of the TV's in the Samsung range.
