Top 100 Gadgets Reviewer

What a great find this was. I thought the only way of listening to music on the run was via a ghetto blaster but not anymore! This has changed my life - thank goodness for my friend telling me to stop listening to the wireless and start shopping online!

The concept of this product is the idea of a small device that can be carried around almost without the wearer noticing. There are 'headphones' coming out of the device which allow the music to be played directly to the ears. Once started, music plays much like it would off your record player. Imagine - all your favourite vinyls on the move! Huey Lewis And The News never sounded better!

I would highly recommend this cutting edge item for it's sleakness and modernity. I just cannot see that this will ever be superseded...

i have to agree with the previos review, this handy little device fits snuggly in my bumbag so i can listen to all my faveourite lps on the move. i sometimes even use my walkman while playing the comador 64, i don't know how my life would be without the sony walkman. price is a bit steep tho. considering when this was first released you could by a 4 bed house and a ferrari for 6 pence!

Love the first review left fo this so called walkman. I am an avid fan of home electronics and have just recieved the latest specialist audio magazine that my grandfather gets through the trade and it informs me that within the next 20 years we will be watching movies on large shiny discs called "laser discs" im guessing that they work in the same kind of way to which a vinyl LP does whereby an arm with a needle runs over varying depth pits and grooves giving pictures and sounds? (make that 2 needles needed? one for sound and one for audio?).

Great item, a marvel of the new age!

Very usefull as they still haven't put the electric in down our street so this battery powered device means I can now listen to music whilst lighting the range or walking down the back yard to the loo!
