I was looking to buy a Blu-Ray after the last one i had gave me lots of problems, I was going to buy the Panasonic DMP-BD35 because of What hi-fi review but something draw me to this instead, although what hi-fi only give it 4 stars the shop told me that this was a better player and £40 cheaper as well, so i brought it and i have to say what a player, very fast at playing BD discs and clean clear picture and sound, this has to be the fastest Blu-ray player so far, if you are looking for a player and can't be arsed with wait around times of the Panasonic DMP-BD35 then look no further then this, i have been into home cinema for years now and never made a bad choice so far,
go for it you wont be disappointed
My first Blu Ray player so I can't compare with others. I waited and read reviews and finally opted for this over the Sony 550. I don't know why I waited so long. Picture quality is so much improved and the sound excellent and crystal. I have had an upscaler DVD player but this is by far better at this with no noticeable lead in times and no freezing so far. Well pleased, would have been 5 stars except for the manual buttons which are behind a drop down front and are very difficult to see and find.
bought this as was looking for a replacement dvd player so thought i'd take plunge and go HD setup no probs so far watched first bluray and quality of picture excellent plays xvid files as well. Only irritating thing is it keeps losing hdmi signal to television when going beetween menus
please can somebody tell me why some of the more expensive players say that they play the movies in full HD. i thought all blu ray players are full HD. this one says in the spec if you read it that there is the word NO next to 1080p.. what does this all mean?
