Outstanding TV. Looks stylish and the picture is even better. Highly adjustable picture options. The true black does have options to turn it either to dark darker darkest or off. Despite countless reviews even pro techie reviews saying it doesnt. I also have no bleed on the screen in dark picture moments. The picture is outstanding. The high contrast really does make a super difference. The only niggle thing is the sound isnt very good I assume this is due to the thinness of it and therefore the shallowness of the speaker cones. Sound is muffled the only built in sound worth having it set to is clear voice. I say niggle because if you are buying this TV you are probably going for the home cinema experience in witch case you probably have a separate amp and surround sound as I do. If you are hoping to use the TV sound this may be something to look in to. Over all apart from the sound the TV is brilliant quality and value. I would also ignore a lot of online reviews as a lot of them are techies writing up what they think they know rather than experience of the TV. IF YOU DO NOT OWN SOMETHING AND ARE UNABLE TO TEST IT PROPPERLY DO NOT WRITE A REVIEW OF IT THINKING YOU ARE THE ALL KNOWING.
One more thing the only difference between series 6 and 7 is that 7 has a more advanced media player and internet TV. if you are running something like a PS3 that already has the internet and media services I would say it is a waste of money to buy the series 7. And lastly if the sound is an issue with you another alternative is the Sony Bravia. But if the sound is no bother this is the pick of the lot.

I researched many flat screen TV's for months and was reluctant to give up my faithful CRT until I found this set. The Samsung UE46B6000 brings flat screens about as close as you are going to CRT's in quality and depth with standard programming. When it comes to HD and animated movies it is spectacular. Controls are easy to use and it has ample sockets at the back to connect up just about everything from PS3 to PC. As mentioned in earlier reviews the sound isn't great but if you are going to invest in a premier screen like this its sacrilege not to give it a home cinema back up. I picked up my set in a sale and got both the TV and surround sound for less that what the TV alone is selling for now. The TV talks to the Samsung surround sound even switching both off at the push of one button. I realise innovation wont stand still and there will be better flat screen TV's to come. However, in the mean time this is one of the best sets you could pick up for under 1K (Sale price). I would recommend this or it's sister sets 40" 52".

Having purchased the 46 inch LED TV, I can nly say that watching blu-ray movies and HD programmes through sky, the picture quality is out of this world, you can really see the picture quality as the directors wanted you to see. The only drawback is the sound quality but a way to resolution is to purchase the samsung surround system. That is when you will blown away. Would recommend on

ordered this tv for my father last week,set it up earlier and stuck a blu ray on.i can honestley say ive never seen a picture as good as this.stunning would be an understatment.the tv itself is also stunning.im ordering one for myself next week
