I will be interested to see if Play.com fulfil what there customer service operator said when I phoned up on the Thursday 12th November. I was informed when I asked for clarification as to their description of "Temporary Out of Stock" and "Unavailable" items wording quoting "within a reasonable time" and the answer to my question of how long is "within a reasonable time"? The operator told me that for electrical products of the type similar to and including the Samsung YP-P3 should be restocked and shipped within one to two weeks time. When I asked if that was from when I ordered I was told "No, from the day I had made my phone call" (what a strange reply). I will hopefully receive my item soon but will be phoning back to ask where it is and why I was misinformed on the 26th November (no doubt to the sound of "oh the operator shouldn't have told you that" and "we offer our sincere apologies" ringing in my ears).

Does the battery still drain when turned off? I had a previous model of a Samsung player that was great except the battery life of about 40 hours continued draining while switched off so needed recharging every few days regardless of whether I'd used it or not. I changed to a Sony that doesn't drain and lasts about 2 weeks per charge. If this doesn't drain then I am very tempted to buy.

This player looks amazing on paper just google a review on it, but I ordered it as a birthday present and the date has been pushed back again. I hope this is the final time the release date gets pushed back as the birthday has been and gone! Disappointing!
