  Good whilet they lasted

I was really happy with these for a year - good quality sound and seemed very robust

Unfortunately about 1 year + 1 month after purchase (i.e. now) one of the earphones developed a fault causing the sound level to be much lower than the other earpiece

Had the fault developed within a year I might have been able to ask play.com for a refund but no such luck

So good while they lasted but now looking to find some earphones that while actually last a decent amount of time

  very good....but

i bought these the other day, as usual quick delivery from play thanks again :) the sound quality is very good like most of the reviews are saying, my only disappointment is the ear fittings , im either doing something wrong cos they WONT stay in and the curly wire as said from the other guy ,yeh its pretty annoying! i after a day was ready to buy some more that actually fit my ears lol but with a bit of patience i think im getting there, had i not had problems at first these would be an easy 5 stars!!

Fantastic value and sound quality, only very slightly let down by the fact that the cable seems to stay curly and drives me nuts as it wraps itself around my iPhone & hand!

  Fine set of Buds!

Plugged these into my iPhone after losing my Apple ones, and at first thought they were a little tinny...that was until I changed the ear-buds to the large ones which fit snuggly, and which sorted out the noise-isolating. Once I'd done this, these babies were great. Deep rich bass, and clear treble. And they're comfortable. Word of advice - make sure you experiment to get the best fit buds, it does make a lot of difference. An absolute bobby bargain for a tenner!!

  Excellent quality

i needed a new pair after my old standard apple ones broke and the difference is amazing, the noise isolation is very effective, with my music playing now i cant hear myself typing on the keyboard, i can hear certain highs and lows that i couldn't before, the bass is 100% better with no distortion or crackling from the headphones, i use them for going to and from college and the isolation also cuts out a lot of the bus noise which is a plus.

For a tenner these headphones are brilliant, you wont find better for the price.

  better than i expected!

i got these on a special offer of 9.99 but i would easily pay 20 no worrys, these are brilliant, my only criticism is that the smallest ear things still come out of your ear as they get squashed, still great though, sound quality is excellent!!!

At 14.99 these headphones are brilliant value for your hard earned money! They have a great sound quality: it's clear; there's a decent bass and it doesn't have to be loud to be dinstinctive. And they even sound great at a high volume. They isolate noise brilliantly (this is why you they are great at low volumes) and the red LED inside the right headphone, the set of 3 different buds and the little plastic box are great additions. However my only complaint is the inteference which can be heard when the wire rubs against clothing-these headphones wouldn't be suitable for use whilst running etc. So overall great value for money, and an excellent sound quality!

  better than i thought

Brilliant earphones i was weary of buying these but im so glad i did. The sound is superb and very comfy. they are very good for the money better than some of the leading brands such as sony and panosonic

Great sound awful fit and power consumption

| | See all jtanz0's reviews (1)

Headphones are almost essential to me, I listen to music from my phone (Nokia 5800) all day at work at my desk and en route to work (walking and the train).

Power consumption: While just listening to music on low volume most of the day these actually caused my phone to loose a bar or battery after 1 day which I have never seen before or since even with far larger headphones.

Fit: the buds that come with the phones are very hard with minimal flex and the outside is very smooth. The net result is something that is uncomfortable to have in your ear all day whilst sitting/working and that and that either fall out completely when walking or fall out to the extent that the bass becomes non existent, meaning I was forever prodding them back in my ears - which first off makes you look stupid and secondly causes pain/irritation

Had a fair few in ear headphones in my time and these are probably one of the best sounding when they are actually in your ears.

Sound quality just isn't worth the hassle and I ended up buying some new phones (over ear sennheiser HD228's which are great) after just 3 weeks of use.
