Ultimate Ears SuperFi 4 Noise Isolating Headphones

Amazing sound and noise isolation, excellent for flights. have bought two pairs and both had to be returned as the left earphone stopped working. Real shame!

I actually read most of the reviews before I bought the headphones and you're all right... about everything. The sound is very good, much better than the other headphones I used to buy... but after about 2 and a half weeks, there was already a loose connection on the jack. I've put up with it for another week and I've had to admit defeat on them, it's impossible to listen to music anymore... the only thing now is, what to go for next, do I get another pair of these and hope they last longer, or go for something else and hope they're better.

i bought these to replace my cx300's, i wish i didnt though!! these headphones are very uncomfortable due to the large size and hard ear tips, the sound is quite loud and sometimes distorted when using them with my ipod touch but there is a severe lack of bass.

Second pair ordered. NOT because the first pair are out of action. Fare between. Bought a second pair on play.Com incase I cannot purchase another set. Top bass and 90% noise cancelling. 40 pounds well worth it. Wear them all the time at the gym and they don't even budge.
You know it makes sense.

When I first received these headphones I was impressed with the sound they produced but I have owned better sounding headphones for the same price. Disappointingly after using them for a month, the sound broke in one ear and then a few days later in the other ear. I would have liked my money back but play.com sent me a replacement instead. I am now on my second pair and I'm not holding out much hope and assume I will have to send of for another replacement soon.

I simply cannot recommend these earphones, given that I got through 4 pairs in 3 months and eventually had to insist on a refund as every pair had developed the same problem of losing sound in one ear. I treated them with care and there were no breaks in the cable when returned to Play, but the build quality is abysmal.
The only reason I haven't scored them 1-star is because, when they do work, they really do sound quite stunning for the money. Gutted that I just couldn't lay my hands on a well built pair.

i bought these headphones as i was very disappointed with my previous 2 pairs of seinheisers which both broke after 2 months, these were just as good quality if not a bit tacky looking. However after 3 months again the left ear stopped playing audio after the wire became detached internally, very annoyed as they broke just before a very long train journey! I wouldn't recommend these for daily use at full price but if on sale for below 20 quid would be a good back up pair. i wont be buying again though

The sound quality is excellent and the choice of ear-cushions is varied. They fitted snugly and reduced most external noise.

Great shame as after 5 minutes the left wire became loose inside the unit and I started to lose audio. I think the design of where the wires enter the headphones should be 'beefed up' a bit as at present it does seem a little fragile.

Sent back for a refund, as I don't want another pair.

I bought these when they were on offer in the summer for 17.99 I keep checking to see if they are on offer so I can buy them again for other family members.... the noise reduction element is excellent, close your eyes when listening to music and you can be anywhere :o) I really like the in-ear headphones anyway; but the sound on these playing tracks and movies on my ipod touch is crystal clear. I highlight recommend them.

i thought the 5*'s were a joke...they weren't.

ive had these earphones 10 minutes & im willing to kill to keep them

for years i thought the singer of one of my favourite songs screamed the chorus-they didn't - it was just i was using inferior earphones, i realised this after seeing them live.

i assumed it was the 1000's of pounds of audio equipment accounting for the difference but its not, these earphones have made ALL the difference

slightly annoyed that the 'mad monday' price is still available on the saturday but thats Play not the product so all in all a great product
