Introductory Dance Experience For Two

I purchased this activity as a christmas present for my mother. The voucher comes with a website address and a telephone number to arrange when and where you can use it. After registering the voucher online, it says that they'll contact you within a set period of time to arrange a date etc. After waiting an additional 2 weeks on top of the guarenteed contact time for them to contact us, including phoning on various occasions, the dance class was finally arranged.

On the evening, my mum and dad turned up willingly, to find that they could've just turned up anyway and paid £5 each on the door! Considering I had paid £25 for this experience, I was not pleased!

So;

Pros:
My mum and dad enjoyed the class, which was the intention.

Cons:
The voucher is a rip off in the sense that it is basically overcharging people for something that they could just wonder into town and pay on the door for much cheaper.

The service from the voucher company was abismal. The people were polite, but it took far too long to arrange the whole thing and they didn't ring back when they said they would. Also there was never a response via e-mail after registering the voucher online as there should have been.

To sum up;
My mum and dad enjoyed themselves which I am really happy about as this was obviously the intended outcome. However, I feel that this voucher is a method of ripping people off, as the price paid for the voucher was 150% what the actual price of the experience was. Also, the fact that it took so long to sort out was very displeasing.
