The product images aren't lying. This mat will hold your device to it whilst it's on a vertical surface. Once pushed down neither the mat or whatever is sitting on it is going to moved. Very useful to have if you tire of things slipping on your dashboard.
this is brilliant, my phone sticks to the dash without sliding around even when I have it plugged into the MP3 dock you can even put it so that the phone is at an angle and it still holds on tight. Totally worth the money :)
