Bioshock 2: 7 Inch Ladysmith Splicer

cant beleave how deformed the charectors realy where til this 1 came through the post im very impressed with the detail n i realy sugest this 1 to any1 who is a fan of bioshock

The level of detail is superb and despite the age difference (woman on the packaging looks about 30, actual figure looks about 50), it's a brilliant figure.

Certainly one that'll look awesome in your collection.

Great detail and props. Mask is hard to get on but it does fit. The scaling is perfect next to the bouncer.

this figure is excellent, after waiting for months on pre-order i am not dissapointed.the splicer has an excellent paint job and is highly detailed including a mask a tommy gun and a rolling pin!!!

To start with, the pros: like all NECA figures, there's some excellent detail and all highly accurate to the animation model used in game. Accessories are pretty neat; her tommy gun fits in her hand with a bit of effort but it looks just right when it's in there, the rolling pin is a random accessory for a deranged upper class socialite (presumably she "confiscated" it from one of the cooks she's always berating ingame) but it's not completely out of place and the mask (which fits fine on my figure) really finishes her off.

The cons are: she's not particularly posable (barely anything at all below the waist) but she looks decent enough just standing there that it probably won't bother so much. Slightly awkward to stand if you don't want to use the base, but it's there for a reason!

To conclude, it's easy to overlook Lady Smith compared to the better recognised and chunkier big daddy figures but she makes such a beautifully ugly display piece that really captures the aesthetic of the game that she really should be included in any Bioshock collection.
