Cult Classic Icons: Nightmare On Elm Street (2010): 7 Inch Freddy Krueger Version 2 Figure

Please note i am a mint on card collector and cant advise what the articulation and durablity of this figure is like! This came in the post today,to be honest i bought it for 2 reasons,Neca figures are few and far between these days so im grabbing what i can from them and it was on clearance at 7.99,a figure of this quality rarely comes that cheap! First thing to say about this figure-your enjoyment and appreciation of this figure will depend on your opinion of the Elm Street remake and personally i wasnt a huge fan,im a Robert Englund kinda guy but as a figure based on the 2010 Freddy,it really is quite superb,the head sculpt(s) are disturbingly graphic with the detail of the burns and the likeness of Jackie Earle Haley is excellent,particularly the open mouth head,the paint job on the teeth is superb. the hat is a good tight detailed sculpt and from looking at other online reviews it seems it fit perfectly. Where the figure really shines is the body sculpt,The trousers,althought has no joints but the sculpt is so sharp and clean.The jumper is PERFECT it honestly looks like hes wearing a burmed material jumper its excellent. The glove is also great,it looks a BIT big but i think that works,it looks even cooler.For a Neca figure the amount of joints is decent enough. So overall, an excellent figure especially if you where a big fan of the film,also i just noticed a nice wee touch i never even noticed in the film...he has one blue eye and one brown eye,obviously not an error as its on both heads.Thats the Neca magic at work again. Theres also a Pre burn Fred Krueger figure,why Neca decided to make this figure really is beyond me when licences like The Princess Bride and Dark Crystal only get one figure!Sorry...im ramblin on a bit now!
