Doctor Who: 5 Inch Ice Warrior Figure (Classic Wave 2)

The second wave of Character Options figures maintains the quality of wave one and features a diverse range of choices for the line. The ICE WARRIOR is a particular favourite of mine, mainly because they always seemed to have more dimension to them in the show, with each of their four stories adding back story to the Martian race. The fact that the design was so imposing helped too, and that design has been replicated here very well.

There are a few minor problems: I think the head should sit lower and, unless this is a Pertwee-era Warrior, the sonic weapon is missing from his arm, but I can't fault the rest of the figure - It is a 'toy' after all! I've already bought two and seriously hope for a 'box set' at some point that features the slimmer ICE LORD character.

Keep these figures coming and I'll keep buying!

A great sculp of the original Ice Warriors from the 1960's - just hope yours can get to you with all this snow... Impressive throughout, shame this set doesn't come with a collect and build option, as I'd love a Zarbi. Maybe an Ice lord next time..?
