Motion sensor falls short of 5*

Size is great, detail is great. But as previous reviewer said , why put a motion sensor on the back?? bit useless.
Otherwise looks great next to my HUlk in display case.
Also remember this is Artfx so is made of light plastic.

 Size Matters

For anyone trying to get hold of one of these, there are a few facts you should know before parting with your money.Firstly the statue only stands at around 13 inches high including the base NOT 16 inches.Secondly the light up eyes only stay on in continous mode not in motion sensor mode, and thirdly the motion sensor has been placed on the back of the statue so unless you are going to display it somewhere where you can move your hand behind it to trigger it, you will need to set the LED's to continuously on if you want it to light up.It looks cool, but falls slightly short of being as great as it could have been.

 Very disappointing!

After preordering in July and finally receiving in December I had high hopes for this Iron Man statue. The looks alone made it appear to be a worthwhile purchase. Unfortunately that did not last for long. Upon opening the packaging, the whole statue just looked and felt really cheap and horrible. The base was worse still. The statue looked nothing like the brilliant shining gloss effect like it did in the pictures. Even the outer box picture looked 100 times better than what was actually inside. I followed the instructions and put the statue together. The bottom half is where the batteries are located and upon being connected to the top half, a connection should be made and both the eye lights and chest arc reactor light should switch on. The switch was located underneath one of the shoulders where you had the option of off, motion sensor on or permanently on. The location of the motion sensor on the back of the statue was a pretty dumb idea. In my case, the lights failed to work. Even after installing new batteries and trying the switch in all three positions the lights failed to work.

After putting this statue next to a few others that I have it just looked absolutely terrible and like it cost pennies. This statue looks nowhere near as good as the pictures and looks and feels just awful and cheap. This would be worth buying for around 10 pounds but not a penny more. It is certainly not worth anything like its 89.99 price tag. Your better off putting your money towards a decent HotToys statue instead.

I decided to return it as it was both faulty and in my opinion of a rather poor standard. If you want to buy an overpriced and poor looking Iron Man statue then this is for you. However, if you want something that is half decent, you need to look for something else.
