I bought this for my nephew as an incentive of learning to save money. The item was delivered in 3-4 days after ordering. When you put the coin on the dog bowl it will start moving its head side by side as if it was "eating" the bowl until the coin falls into the money box compartment. I found the 1p coin is too light to trigger the dog to "eat" the coin; but it is not a problem- just put a few more coins on the bowl. The money box is so popular I am in the process of ordering another one.
