Here's an amazing radio-controlled helicopter that takes flying fun to another level - Bladez 3D!

If RC pilots have started off with one of our other, simple-to-fly offerings, but are yearning for the a chance to develop their airborne skills, Bladez 3D offers a chance to progress to advanced flight manoeuvres and even more control, precision and power.

The Bladez 3D helicopter is designed to give RC pilots a ready-to-fly experience like no other and is factory built and flight tested so you can get airborne right away.

It can fly just about anywhere, anytime, thanks to the innovative radio system that avoids interference with other RC users. You also get the benefit of an ingenious control system that provides the kind of locked-in, solid response that will let you fly even the most demanding 3D maneuvers with absolute precision.

Fully capable of outdoor flight in still air or light winds, Bladez 3D is also suitable for indoor flight. Robustly constructed to be able to withstand rough landings, this sophisticated helicopter has a lot to offer intermediate to advanced RC pilots.

This thing is awsome! Its well made and tough, especialy the rotors which have taken some bashing and still look like new and it looks great and could easily be mistaken for one of the petrol beasts or one of those bigger elec. ones costing hundreds.
I put it in a hover in my living room straight out of the box and was amazed at how stable it was, after a little trimming it stood still like it was on wires. As long as you have a bit of skill on the controls it'll go where ever you want and goes backwards as well as it does forwards! I dont think the flight time is a problem and is much better than the little 2 channel helis. I would recomend always letting it cool down for 10mins after use then give it a full 30-35min charge. I get a good 15min flight out of mine.

 Not without problems

Initial thoughts were very favourable. Hovers like a dream and manouveres with very little effort. However, mine liked to stop working when it felt like it, usually 30 feet in the air. No warning just instant power loss that required switching off and on again to get it working. Also when the battery was exhausted it just plummeted to the floor...dead. It only lasted 2 charges before it had one plummet too many. Now its held together with glue , tape and rubber bands and flies like its had a good night out with the lads i.e wobbling and confused. Got a spares pack off internet, but the main motor housing contained in the pack is the wrong size for the Bladez motors. After all that though i will buy another Bladez, and just hope my first was a duff one. Lets hope this one lives longer than 2 hours. .......Update 24/3/2009... Second one behaves the same as the first one, i.e not very good. Pretty poor value for money as it broke within 2 minutes as power cut out. Dont waste your money. Better spending £100 on a decent one.

pretty good although flight time is short

got this for a bit of fun and it's ok,it's tuff as i've crashed loads of time's with no damage the only problem is the flight time,im only getting 10mins of flight with it and i was expecting at least 20mins with this helicopter, overal pretty good for the money........

 Fun Fun Fun

Yes very fun...crashed it lots of times (including a 25ft drop onto concrete) untill it finally broke. Trim is easy to get used too. And once you get the hang of flying it (this was my 1st rc anything) its great. Flight time is short ( 10 - 15 min), but when it runs low on battery it only flys a ft. Off the ground so i found i could practice abit more before it fully runs out.

Will buy another when i get payed!

Great Toy - have cured the cutting out!

This is an awesome bit of kit, novelty has worn off for me so am selling it, but in case you haven't figured it out yet.......
The reason they cut out is usually because the antenna cable is in the way of the sensor, where the little l.e.d comes on. make sure there is nothing in the way of that and problem solved!!!
