 Not worth 80 quid

I wrote a review on this 3 days ago. My review was deleted.

This pack is not worth 80 quid. The heli contained is a CUT DOWN Silverlit Atlas. NOTE : YOU CAN NOT CHANGE THE MAIN BLADES. Instead of screws you get moulded plastic which is irremovable. You can get a real ATLAS for 20 quid which IS fully repairable; i.e you CAN replace the main blades etc. The reason I learned this is due to a single hair getting stuck in the rotor.

The truck is brittle. Cheap plastic doors. The motors for one of the doors stopped working after a day. It also stopped steering in about that time. Now I just hear whirring of a motor then it powers down making a strange error-style noise. I changed the batteries, its not that. It was treated very delicately.

The concept is great, the result is not, I was excited that it had a brand heli but disappointed is was not the proper version but a downgraded one.

If a normal Atlas is 20 quid the one in this pack is worth about 10. This means that they are trying to charge you 70 quid for the truck...

I got my pack for 35 quid (not from the above seller but a local one) and at the time I thought it was a steal. Now I think I was ripped off somewhat.
If it works its great. It'll probably be shortlived.

If my post is removed again I'll be taking it further. People deserve to know the true experience.
