Star Wars Anakin Replica FX Lightsaber

This is fantastic. I thought the blade was going to be quite brittle, but it is actually very sturdy and the sound effects are great aswell. The display stand is just that - nothing special - just a stand. The battery compartment is well hidden aswell in the handle. The whole thing just ouses quality. The hilt has some weight to it making it feel authentic. If you like Star Wars then you have to own one of these.

This new range of sabers from MR are top stuff. I own an old version Vader and for the money it was quite disappointing; large handle, a blade only visible at night, poor electronics and sound that eats tons of batteries. These new one rectify all those faults (including price) and are a MUST for any Star Wars fan out there. It's so bright it looks the part in broad daylight, the electronics run for ages on only 3 AA batteries and are excellent, giving good response and loud sound. The handle is hefty metal but slim enough to fit easily in the hand and feels like proper kit. In short, at this price it's a bargain and you need one in your life. In fact you actually need 2, although it's not recommended, as these things are tough enough to take kids dueling with them.

This force fx was my first one (I now have another two) and it is the one that still amazes me. Anakin is my favourite character so when the brought out this force fx I didn't want it I needed it. When I got it I thought it would be good but not as good as it is.

HILT:
The hilt is the first thing that grabs your attention, that is when the blades not on. It is identical to Anakins revenge of the sith lightsaber in every way. At first you can not see the on and off switch, I only found it because of the yellow sticker, because it is so well disguised. I also love the way the battery pack is, a secret chamber at the base of the hilt!!! WOW!!!! The only thing is finger prints, they are a pain and there is alot when your hold it.

BLADE:
The blade is great strong and sturdy. In when I first turned the blade on I wasn't that impressed mind you it was in broard daylight. I then turned the blade on to go and get a torch (we had a power cut) it was bright no really bright. The blue was brighter than the sky. The blade may not have been that good in broard daylight but at night well george lucas you wasted your money on special effects.

bright glow...great crome finish.....i love the hilt, most of its crome so it gets finger prints on it, I have three and they are the best pieces of movie membroilia I have....the FX sound on all three are perfect, not faults in the sound, when clashed with another or anything it makes the sound you hear from the actual film...they ARE exactly like from the film...just not real...but who cares they're perfect

They're just expensive but worth the cash if you love Star Wars...NOT TOYS...collectors pieces DO NOT GIVE TO KIDS who will just swing it around and smash them with anything
