This is a real nice detailed piece.Its quite heavy and you have to admire the paintwork on it even brushes of white on the tauntauns fur to create the effect of the snow.You get an extra head for luke the other being with his goggle over his eyes and the head just sits in.You really cant appreciate these kind of statues just by a photo you have to see them for real to see the detial.Its exact to what you saw in the film even one end of the tauntauns left horn broke off a little on the end just like the film.Ive got my eye on the jawas now from the same studio.

What another reat statue from Gentle Giant,as always,the attention to detail,sculpting and painting are second to none.
Standing approx 12 inches or so,this piece show`s the talents of Gentle Giant,capturing the fur on the Tauntaun,the icey look base and Lukes face,expertly done.

Made by those at Gentle Giant Studios you just know it's going to be up to their usual fantastic detailed standard!
This statue comes in 4 parts: The snow base, the Tauntaun with Luke Skywalker's body and a choice of 2 Luke heads. One of the heads is as shown with the snow-goggles resting on Luke's head and his scarf lying over his shoulder, the other head is of Luke all wrapped up, an image you only saw for a split second on screen.
There is something awesomely authentic about this piece as, when it's put together, it looks like a prop straight from "Empire".
If you're thinking about buying this one, don't think too long! You won't regret it!
