Silverlit: X-Rotor R/C Picoo Z Micro Helicopter (Red)

After reasoning with a different remote control helicopter for along time and not having the greatest of times i felt the need to buy another one (lucky i did). Not more expensive, in fact this product was a pound cheeper but is in a different league. I think the controlablility (i think thats a word) is miles better and with the trimming (affects direction for you new buyers) is a lot better. Really enjoyed and am still enjoying this product, i think you will enjoy this product, beware 6 AA batteries needed for controls but this does double up as charging station aswell.

This small and lightweight helicopter is great fun and easy to use. Take time to get used to flying it and you will be a pro in no time. The helicopter comes with its own charger built into the transmitter, low fuss, low expence. A must buy for R/C fans!

As soon as i took the helicopter out of the box, slapped some batteries into the remote control and i was off. The battery in the copter charges in mere minutes, so no waiting around.
At first flying this thing can be very difficult, the trim needs to be adjusted so that it doesn't start spinning in either direction. But once mastered you can fly it nearly everywhere. Round my living room i could direct it into any corner, high or low.
The steering can be awkward at times as it will never turn and fly straight in whichever direction. It needs controlling in actions of left and right until it vaguely flys in the direction you want it.

Also, the helicopter is extremely light, so i would not recommend flying it outside at all. Even a breeze in my house can sometimes set it widely off course.

But for the money and the joy this little thing brings, its an absolute bargain. Chocks away...

Just received mine (5 days from ordering) all ok and does work with re-chargable batteries. I have 2100mAh re-chargables. Well happy with it and at a great price too. Had several crashes no damage. Plus theres a spare tail rota blade in case!

I bought this thing about a month ago and have regretted it ever since. First off, it took over a week to arrive, an unusual occurrence from Play.com, when it finally arrived i was severely disappointed. I know it's cheap compared to other, more professional helicopters, but having read some of the reviews i assumed that it would be worth the money. It isn't.
You have little, if any, control of it and after trying to control and maneuver it for most of the day i gave up, it's useless. I even tried some of the suggestions thrown around the internet, like sticking blue-tack on the nose, this did nothing, if anything, it made it harder to control.
Avoid this thing at all costs, it's completely rubbish and really really not worth the money.
It's just a shame i can't give it 0 out of 5 stars.
