Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars My second helicopter, and this a lot better

After reasoning with a different remote control helicopter for along time and not having the greatest of times i felt the need to buy another one (lucky i did). Not more expensive, in fact this product was a pound cheeper but is in a different league. I think the controlablility (i think thats a word) is miles better and with the trimming (affects direction for you new buyers) is a lot better. Really enjoyed and am still enjoying this product, i think you will enjoy this product, beware 6 AA batteries needed for controls but this does double up as charging station aswell.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Lots of fun

I got this thing as a birthday present because my wife didn't know what else to give me. This was a great present, I don't care if it was cheap or not. I took me only half an hour to learn to fly it, and I've laughed my ass of because the dog goes crazy when it starts buzzing in the air.

In my mind, one of the best presents I ever got!

Top 100 Gadgets Reviewer

I bought this thing about a few weeks ago and have enjoyed it ever since. It did however, take over awhile to arrive but i think thats due to the royal mail strike. When it finally arrived i was disappointed as it didnt look as good as the image. However, from purchasing things from play.com before, i knew its not always what u see is what u get (WISIWIG). I knew it was cheap compared to other helicopters, but it still flew great, and ive had lots of fun using it.
IT was thought, VERY WEAK, and the propeller snapped quite easily. I dont think i will order another one, but if you order this, prepare urself for it not to last long.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars I liked it

Got one in the post yesterday, came on time, my only grumble is it didn't include batteries (needs 6!!)

After a bit of practise it's great fun! Well worth the money paid.

Customer rating: 1 out of 5 stars Truly awful, complete waste of money you'll regret buying it

I bought this thing about a month ago and have regretted it ever since. First off, it took over a week to arrive, an unusual occurrence from Play.com, when it finally arrived i was severely disappointed. I know it's cheap compared to other, more professional helicopters, but having read some of the reviews i assumed that it would be worth the money. It isn't.
You have little, if any, control of it and after trying to control and maneuver it for most of the day i gave up, it's useless. I even tried some of the suggestions thrown around the internet, like sticking blue-tack on the nose, this did nothing, if anything, it made it harder to control.
Avoid this thing at all costs, it's completely rubbish and really really not worth the money.
It's just a shame i can't give it 0 out of 5 stars.

This is a great helicopter for the money, takes a bit of mastering and you need a bit space. I've mastered mine by taking it to work and flying it around the office - once in the air it gives a nice breeze to cool your colleagues ;-) so they can't complain.
Take it outside when there is no wind and it's even more fun, don't know how high it would go because I chickened out when it went above the house. Looks good with the flashing LED's at night. Recommended...

I was supid and paid £30 from a model shop and not play.com but, it is still worth the money so what jonathanswaddle is on about I have no idea! this helicopter is fantastic we all had loads of go's and we all had bad crashes and it is still undamaged! even our two year old niece flew it about 20 times and all she was doing was going up and hitting the ceiling and letting go of the controls so it fell to the floor (it's still unbroken!) and we are still using the same batteries (they last ages)
this is worth every penny! We all had so much fun over the bank holiday weekend I ordered another one and this time i used Play.com!
jonathanswaddle is just a sad little man!

I got this yesterday, and so far so good. I have a around 20 square meters large room, and this copter is able to navigate inside that room well enough. I got some furniture, so it's not an ideal place to start flying, but so far this copter has managed. There have been numerous crashes, but so far the copter has not suffered.. except a few times I had to remove some long hairs out of the propellers.. ;)
In general, it's almost impossible to break. At least I have not managed so yet, even though there have been some rather bad crashes. :) I even rammed the copter on the wall and furniture a few times on purpose, to demonstrate to my girlfriend that it's safe for her to handle it also, it won't break.
On the flying.. it is quite easy, but not really. The copter is extremely light, and every breeze affects it. Precision control is almost impossible, but the general directions work well enough, and after a few hours I'm now able to take off, navigate a to next room, and then return and land to almost same spot where I took off.

So far so good, I'm happy with it. It's not perfect to fly, but it's perfect for a first RC flyer, as it's so durable.

Fun. :)
