This deck is excellant. When i first opened it the first thing i did was look through my deck and mix them with the other cards i have. Then i tried to work out what i should do to make it into it's best combination (seeing as i haven't played it for ages). I used to have loads and now i have forgotton how to play it (well sort of) and now this starter deck has helped me get back on top form, and hopefully my friends will stop calling me a novis and saying i'm rubbish and actually give me a chance with this great starter deck.
This deck is especially for Yu-Gi-Oh fans who are new and who want to use a deck that is easy to use and will get them started and then hopefully they can get even more decks, tins and boster packs to build an ultimate deck.
It is also for Yu-Gi-Oh fans, who have been fans for a long time who would just like to build to their collection and get new cards. (Which is what i will hopefully do in a couple of months)
Anyway, now to tell you about the cards and what else is inside this amazing deck:
Game Mat and Rule Book:
The game mat will help you learn how many monster cards you can put on the field at once (same with the spell and trap cards). Also where to put your deck, extra deck (i will tell you more about this later on), graveyard and field spells.
The rule book will help you understand the rules of the game, how to play it and how to use the different types of cards and what types they go into.
Spell cards and Field Spell cards:
Spell cards are cards you cand play when ever you want on your main phase 1. You can use then on monsters, you or your opponent.
Field Spell cards are cards that change the scenery (not in a real life duel) and can give your monsters more attack points.
Trap cards are cards that can be used on the turn after the turn you set them (sorry if i't doesn't make sence). They can be used to destroy monsters, stop their attacks and so on.
There are loads of different types of monster cards! Powerful, weak and effect monsters, just loads of them! So i won't tell you about these you will have to find out for yourself.
To be honest, i didn't really know what that ment till i read the rule book. Monsters that are monsters that have been summoned by using other monsters go in the extra deck zone (sorry if that part didn't make sense either). They are grey cards, some are shiney and some are not shiney.
Overall, this is a brilliant deck and you will love it. It will help you start off dueling and hopefully make you an even better duelist. There are some great cards to use in this deck, so use them well other wise you might lose the duel, but hopefully you will win.
Look up in the rule book or the Yu-Gi-Oh website for more information on how to duel.
And most importantly:
HAVE FUN DUELING YU-GI-OH FANS!!!!!
