Transformers: Classic Deluxe Rodimus Prime Figure

I bought this because Hot Rod is my favourite Autobot and to be able to buy it now when I couldnt afford it as a child brings a real sense of satisaction.

Firstly this is Hot Rod renamed due to licensing and if u are fan of Hot Rod then u have to get it!

The transformation is great. I hate transformers where u just fold and pull the limbs out. This one is a little bit more sophisticated. It has a gun that fires a projectile and 3 modes of transformation!

My only negative point is that the colour is as shown in the picture, its too red compard to the movie version, and its a decent size but it would be even better if it was bigger, but there is no alternative toy for him. I didnt own the previous versions to compare.

Only warning is that when I received this it was not well packaged and the box got a bit crushed. Be warned.

Yup this is infact Hot Rod from the original cartoon - Rodimus Prime was Hot Rod once he had the matrix and in the cartoon had a trailer like Optimus Prime. I had the original Hot Rod years ago before selling all my transformers at a Blue Peter Bring and Buy (yes I know - shut up). This toy is of as good if not better quality, i'm off to buy the Starscream one now which i never owned as a child :D

This not is hot rod renamed like the preivious reviwer said it is the one form the original film where he is renamed rodimus after taking over as comander of the autobots. overall a good figure it takes me back to the old days when i had loads of these
